Blind and Partially Sighted Project at Hatfield Moors.

Last summer we invited some local residents with a varying mix of sight loss to join us at a consultation to shape a way forward around wider inclusion for
accessibility to Hatfield Moors. We walked the Easy Access route gaining feedback around their experiences with our current facilities such as the signage and structures and what we might be able to change to make visiting a more inviting place – website, apps and organised visits. Staff and volunteers with the help of Harrison College are currently putting some of those recommendations into action so you might notice some subtle changes on one of your visits to Hatfield from the Boston Park access.
