Last Friday, Glu Recruit hosted their annual Office Unsung Heroes Award ceremony at Leopold Hotel, Sheffield. Our Principal, Gemma Peebles, was shortlisted to the top 10 following a nomination from the College Directors for her work so far here at Harrison College.

Gemma, along with Tony Hirst, attended the event enjoying afternoon tea and hearing from the other fantastic nominees.

The awards are judged by an independent panel and because the highly commended prizes were so hotly contested, they decided to aware a Special Mention to Gemma and Harrison College. They said that ‘Gemma is not only the driving force behind her organisation but is also making a difference to the community’.

The Office Unsung Hero was awarded to a very deserving team member at Bluebell Wood Hospice, everyone at Harrison College sends our congratulations and best wishes.
