The Doncaster Skills Academy team consists of qualified Business Advisors and colleagues with years of experience working with businesses in the local area. They will be supporting with industry visits, employer engagement and supported internships.
Limitless Agency / Institution Marketing
Limitless / Institution are one of our key business partners providing supported internships, with a particular focus on students pursuing a career in coding and computer programming. Simon Young, Managing Director, is also our business ambassador, who is not only working with our students but also is supporting other businesses to ensure that all internships are successful.
Venatu will be delivering employability workshops to our students to ensure that they have suitable and robust CV's, practice their interview techniques and support them with searching for employment opportunities.
Peach Training Solutions
Wilmott Dixon will be delivering teambuilding and problem solving workshops for our students and staff. They will also be supporting suitable students with internships at their Doncaster site.
FCD will be supporting one of our interns, they are design and marketing agency and they are the fantastic team behind our new college prospectus.
We are building a close working relationship with Higher Rhythm, we collaborate with them on study programmes to offer a bespoke Music Technology course and also they are part of our supported internship programme through the Youth Music Project.

Crab and Moo are an award winning Cocktail Bar and Restaurant in the heart of Doncaster and they are supporting the college in fundraising and internships for our students.
U-Explore is the UK’s leading careers guidance company, changing the face of careers advice and provision. Since 2008 we have been developing and delivering cost-effective and impartial careers and employability programmes for schools and colleges, students and parents.
Careers guidance does not start and finish with a one-off interview in the careers office, it is ongoing and U-Explore is there for the whole journey.
Job Centre Plus / DWP are working with the College to provide a range of programmes including mentoring circles, bringing students and employers together, and Step Up; an introduction to work experience and internships.

Food AWARE is a ‘not for profit’ social enterprise set up to find ways of redistributing surplus food from potential waste to human consumption or other environmentally friendly means of reuse.
